MS ISA Server

Security for your ISA Server
This solution contains a multitude of functions to provide effective protection for data transferred via ISA Server. Data transferred by HTTP and FTP is filtered, with potentially dangerous objects being extracted from the data stream and scanned for viruses.

Automatic configuration
MS ISA Server can work in three modes: Firewall, Proxy and Integrated. Kaspersky Anti-Virus automatically detects the mode in which the server is operating and implements the required set of filters.

Additional scanning parameters
Scanning speed can be increased by setting additional parameters:
  • Identifying certain servers as secure, so data received from these servers is not scanned
  • Specifying types of objects which need not be monitored for viruses
  • Setting of timeframes for data scans, with the maximum interval between data trasfers measured in seconds
  • Defining the volume of data to be collected and held by Kaspersky Anti-Virus for analysis before being transmitted to the end user
Server load balancing
Server load balancing is ensured by multiple antivirus engines being run simultaneously. In default mode, the program launches four antivirus engines. Large volumes of data can be scanned without impairing ISA Server performance.

Administration tools
Antivirus protection is managed via an interface integrated with the ISA Microsoft Management Console (MMC). The system administrator can configure parameters for virus scanning, create user groups according to internal specifications, define security profiles for each group, set reporting and logiing parameters etc.

System requirements
This version of the program cannot be installed on MS ISA Server computers operating as array members.
